A Gym Where Everyone is Welcome!

Accel Gymnastics opened in December 2009. We began with the vision of providing a fun, clean, healthy place for kids and teens to exercise and learn the sport of gymnastics. Our mission was (and still is) to create an environment and provide a facility where children of ALL levels can feel safe, valued, and supported while receiving the best coaching possible.

In 2020, Accel moved into our new 34,000 square foot facility (Pre Covid). While we had to close our satellite locations due to the pandemic, we are lucky to still have our Training Center!

Accel teams have had numerous State, Regional, and National Titles. We are very proud of the hard work and determination of our athletes. But we are more proud of the amazing people we get to see grow up in our gym (pre school, recreational, developmental, teams, and camps).

Since 2009, Accel (now Accel Gymnastics Training Center) has contributed to the physical fitness of over 10,000 kids in San Mateo County. We opened our doors with 5 athletes, and since then we have had grown to see numbers as high as 1,200 students per week!

We are so proud of the many ways Accel has donated back to the community that supports us! We have supported local PTA’s by donated services and money in excess of $100,000! We have also lowered fees for families in need. We believe everyone should be able to participate in gymnastics!

In March 2018 we also held a fundraiser for Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital @ Stanford. We invited 2016 Olympian, Laurie Hernandez, for the day and raised a significant amount of money. We donated the total earned of $14,900 to Lucille Packard!
